The mix of Garnacha, Tempranillo and Cabernet Sauvignon, together with the long ageing process in oak barrels, lend it characteristics that make it an excellent wine.
However, what we really like about it is not its quality but the fact that it represents the social commitment of the winery.*
*The parchment wrapped around it is the product of the careful handiwork of two disadvantaged groups in Cariñena: unemployed women and young people with intellectual disabilities from the Fundación Benito Ardid. This is the social stake assumed by BSV in its local environment and the quality of life of the people with a high risk of unemployment.
Cherry red tinged with brick-coloured hues. Nose, with a combination of spicy aromas typical of wood with ripe fruit. Generous and flavoursome on the palate, with persistent sweet tannins that leave us with pleasant memories in the mouth.
Serving temperature: 16-18 ºC.
Pairing: red meats, game, stews, baby lamb, cured cheese and roast dishes.
Macerated and fermented in stainless steel tanks for eight days at a temperature of 26-28ºC. Aged in American oak barrels for thirteen months before spending a further 24 months in bottles.
Varieties: Garnacha, Tempranillo and Cabernet Sauvignon.
Ageing: Minimum of 36 months with at least 12 in oak barrels and then resting in bottles.
